Professional Experience

Utah Valley University | EverGREEN Campaign

I work as a Web Developer and Content Manager for the Institutional Advancement (IA) team at Utah Valley University (UVU). When I started at UVU I was initially tasked with developing a website for their first comprehensive campaign called EverGREEN. I used Omni, UVU's content management system (CMS) to build this website which will kick off their largest comprehensive campaign so far.

I was able to collaborate with teams and departments to gather content and build the webpages needed to display the necessary information that is consistent with the UVU website standards and format. I held weekly meetings to ensure we were getting the appropriate content and that everyone was kept in the loop about what we need and when we need it. I was able to deliver the completed website before the the deadline and had it ready to publish for the launch, at the UVU President Scholarship Ball.

School & Practice

Grapevine | City Businesses Web Page

This was a final project in one of Web Development classes at BYU-Idaho. We were to showcase our skills with HTML, CSS and Javascript that we had learned during the semester. The overall goal of the website project is to promote the business interests of the members of the organization and promote the city area, attracting additional business and people.

Some of the main items implemented were an API for weather info, have a visually responsive site for different sized devices, and maintain a good site speed by implementing best practices to reduce image size. This site was made through "GitHub" and using "Visual Studio Code".

Backyard Birds | Web Page Creation

I was tasked with making my own website. I Chose to make a site about birds. People could come to the website to find out how they could attract local birds to their house. This is another one of my final projects to display skills with HTML and CSS. I used an online web builder called "Glitch".
